Calculate tolls with ChatGPT: what exists and what you must build
Direct answer: no native ChatGPT connector for Tolls Calculator is documented. Two real paths: (1) a custom GPT with an Action whose OpenAPI schema points at the toll/cost endpoints, or (2) function calling from your own app via the OpenAI API. Anything else (an installable plugin) is not documented and shouldn't be assumed.
Custom GPT with Actions
Publish an OpenAPI schema over HTTPS (e.g. server https://api.cargoffer.com, operation POST /costs/calculate), configure API-key auth in the header (Authorization: Bearer β¦) and instruct the GPT to always call the Action for amounts. Check OpenAI's current docs for plan requirements of Actions.
Function calling from your app
Declare a calcular_peajes tool (polyline, vehicle_class, payment_method); your backend executes the real POST https://back.transcend.cargoffer.com/api/v1/tolls/calculate and returns JSON to the model. The API key never leaves your server.
Honest limits
ChatGPT cannot produce reliable route geometry β feed it coordinates or use the waypoint-capable costs endpoint. Amounts are live estimates, not guaranteed prices. Plain ChatGPT without an Action answers from static knowledge: fine for method, useless for quoting.
Figures must always come from a live API call.
